Four years ago, a magnitude 9 earthquake struck off northeastern japan, triggering tsunami that washed away coastal communities. Survivors are still struggling to rebuild. And workers at Fukushima Daiichi are still trying to contain the aftermath of the nuclear accident. People in different places paused today to remember what happened in 2011, and all that was lost.
