கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டத்தில் கிறிஸ்தவ தேவாலயங்களில் வழிபாட்டு உரிமை மறுக்கப்படுவதாகக் கூறி, அருமனை கிறிஸ்தவ இயக்கம், கிறிஸ்தவ ஜனநாயக பேரவை மற்றும் அனைத்து கிறிஸ்தவ, இஸ்லாமிய அமைப்புகள் சாா்பில் கடந்த 18 ஆம் தேதி கண்டன ஆா்ப்பாட்டம் அருமனையில் நடைபெற்றது.
இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்ற ஜனநாயக கிறிஸ்துவ பேரவை அமைப்பின் ஆலோசகரான, கிறிஸ்துவ மத அருள்தந்தை ஜாா்ஜ் பொன்னையா  சர்ச்சைக்குரிய வகையில் பேசியுள்ளார்.
அந்த விடியோ இப்போது சமூக வலைதளங்களில் வைரலாக பரவி வருகிறது.

இதையடுத்து ஜார்ஜ் பொன்னையா மீது சட்ட விரோதமாக கூடுதல் , சாதி, மதம் மற்றும் இரு தரப்பினரிடையே விரோதத்தை உருவாக்குதல், பொது அமைதிக்கு பங்கம் ஏற்படுத்துதல், மத நம்பிக்கைகள் மீது அவதூறு பரப்புதல் என 7 பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் அருமனை காவல் நிலையத்தில் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு உள்ளது.
இந்நிலையில், இந்து கடவுள்கள், பிரதமர் உள்ளிட்ட தலைவர்களையும் இழிவாகவும், சர்ச்சைக்குரிய வகையில் பேசிய புகாரில் தேடப்பட்டு வந்த கிறிஸ்துவ மத அருள்தந்தை ஜாா்ஜ் பொன்னையாவை மதுரை மாவட்டம் கொட்டாம்பட்டியில் வைத்து போலீஸார் கைது செய்துள்ளனர்.
