When a U.S. president left office 40 years ago, archival teams swept in to gather almost every piece of paper, picture, audio or video tape that the president and his staff had generated. They carried boxes of these official documents from the White House to the National Archives and Records Administration, which stores and makes them accessible to the public in perpetuity. By the late 2000s, as more of those records came in electronic form, workers swapped out boxes for giant servers, loaded them onto trucks and drove them to their new quarters when the presidency turned over. The records were transferred onto servers in a NARA data center. ....

Money to try to debase our currency and get out of it. and what you ll see is hyperinflation. in fact, our debt is so bad, that last week, the new leaders of the house, announced new rules for all budget items. making it easier, you heard me, easier for the u.s. to go further into debt. unlike the current rules, the new republican rule will allow the house to pass only one kind of budget measure, without paying for it. tax cuts. so, boehner will be able to raise the debt for cutting taxes, but not for spending more on services. and if he does want to spend more on services, that does have to be paid for somehow, except by raising taxes. this, as think progress reports that the new house liaison with regulators, trying to reign in the shadow market and derivatives, comes from her former job as a lobbyist. as promised, let s bring in james pethogukis. ....
