We have light showers and temperatures really the headline tomorrow, only in the 50s and 60s. A rough start, rude awakening to october. By 6 00 friday here comes the steadier rain with temperatures low to mid50s. By lunchtime, heavier rain. You see the yellow and orange. Thats the heavy stuff. That begins to move up from the south during the day, the afternoon on friday with temperatures only in the low 50s. 52 in leesburg, 53 downtown. Could be a miserable drive home friday night. Even by 8 30 on friday night still heavy rain off to the west. Stil ....
Were seeing all the right ingredients to make it just that. Weve got a hurricane moving up the coast, possibly becoming a Tropical Storm by the time it gets near us. We have High Pressure up across new england that will block that storm and push it inland. Then weve got a weather front coming in from the west. All interacting, giving us a whole lot of rain throughout the area. The winds are at 75 miles per hour, sitting just off the coast of florida. Watch it as it makes its way northward. A category 1, perhaps even weakening before it makes landfall. So whats changed now from the last time we hit air, and from some of the new guidance that comes out, is the fact that its going to be lagging by about 12 hours. So the brunt of the storm, the worst of the storm now probably late monday through tueay morning or at least midday. And coming inland somewhere perhaps around the south ....
