neighborhoods, the smartest people who work for you in your staff, they all live in the same neighborhood. whether they re black or white or asian. there s this book written, there s a test if you are part of the new elite. the new elite are corporate executives, really quality lawyers, doctors and because it s now at the point where it is merit-based, whether you re part of the elite, we ve kind of forgotten about ordinary americans out there. and so, it s like, it drove my boys crazy. it had them take the test in the book and it said, have you ever been on a factory floor? were you raised in a neighborhood where over 60% of the people didn t go to college? if you get a chance to go to starbucks or mcdonald s for coffee, where do you go? do you know anybody who has whole milk if their refrigerator? because everybody else has skim milk? elitist. so part of it is that it s understandable, the good news is, it s based on merit advancement in many cases now, but the bad news ....

good evening. i m erin burnett. out front tonight, breaking news, president donald trump signing an executive order launching an investigation into voter fraud as early as tomorrow. this is according to a senior administration official. it comes as trump is speaking out tonight, doubling down moments ago in an interview with abc news on his false claim of massi massive voter fraud. it s been called false. look at the pew reports. i called the author last night and he said there was no evidence then why did he write the report? he said no evidence of voter fraud. why did he write the report? he s groveling again. i talk about the reporters that grovel when they want to write something that you want to hear but not necessarily millions of people want to hear or have to hear. you ve launched an investigation. we will to find out. and i will say this, of those votes cast, none of them come to me. thun of them come to me. they would all be for the other the inve ....
so we haven t had a chance to digest it. but the attorney general in his confirmation hearings was very clear with a one-word answer when asked by a senator whether he had contact with the russians in any way, shape, or form. he said no, period. no condition, no modification. so obviously that turns out to not be accurate there is no reason to believe that jeff sessions in the confirmation hearing was trying to hide something. he may simply have forgotten. but it does mean two things. number one, it adds to the incredible weight of evidence that the administration is not credible on these issues. remember a couple of weeks ago when we heard that michael flynn was talking to the russian ambassador simply to wish him merry christmas. and of course that turns out not to be true. and michael flynn is no longer national security adviser. so this white house has a very, very significant credibility problem. and it s with respect to attorney general sessions, what this means, and again, ....
