cancelled, leaving many stranded. adam klotz is bringing the christmas weekend forecast. madelyn is live at the airport, hi, madelyn. good morning, griff and ashley, we have not seen a big pile up, but it is early and things could change. nationwide 2400 flights have been cancelled and 9500 flights delayed so far. the biggest concern in the new york city area are heavy rain, strong winds and icy roads as temperatures drop. outside new york, blizzard conditions through the great lakes and northeast could affect ground conditions at many airports and disruptions could lead to a domino effect. several airlines have been waving fees, but that hasn t helped a lot of people. it is not looking good. they changed my gate, then cancelled my flight. i got to go rebook or refund. we were anticipating the flights were going to get cancelled and we rebooked on wednesday night and rebooked twice back on united this actual. i contemplated driving in case flights got cancelle ....
