Big new developments today in the trump effort to overturn the election, a day after the president was publically rebuffed by republican lawmakers from michigan, invited to the white house. The Republican Party itself is trying to do what those legislatures would not do. They launched a fresh effort to keep the state from certifying the outcome, taking aim at predominantly minority voters in one county. Coming up in a few moments, i will talk to one of the members of the canvassing board in that county. This is the latest in a war on democracy from a president who cant muster up much passion for his position when hes anywhere outside of twitter. This is not an easy thing to do. Basically, that if he were president , the United States would act as if we were georgia. We, america, would go to war with russia on behalf of this other country. And at the time that john mccain president ial candidate was pledging a war with russia because we are all georgians now, at the time that he was doing that, the lobbying firm of his top Foreign Policy adviser Randy Scheunemann had u. S. , been hired and put on the payroll of the government of georgia. Thats the one time you might remember Randy Scheunemann, that might have got the United States in a shooting war with russia.
