In Norway, where nearly 1 in 4 vehicles are electric, drivers are accustomed to taking steps to increase efficiency in cold weather. Longer lines at charging stations in winter have become less of an issue as Norway has built more charging ports and the majority of electric vehicle owners have their own charging stations at home. Cold weather is likely to be less of an issue as companies update electric vehicle models and innovate to solve the challenges posed by extreme temperatures.
