We learned this morning that the trooper did something that may have saved his own life. Fill us in. Reporter yeah. That i say he had a turnicat on his belt we also know he will need more surgeries. He is fighting for his life inside saint lukes hospital. It was a traffic stop that turned into a brawl and gun b t battle. Just about an hour ago we learned more details about what happened along that highway. They say he was given a speeding ticket but then failed a sobriety test after failing to be under the influence of marijuana. He then began fighting with the troopers. He was able to run to his car and grab a gun and police say he then shot the two troopers. Dash cam shows him fleeing the scene, leaving behind Corporal Kelly, bleeding out with life threatening injuries. He was greatly injured at this point. He fell over the guardrail. Even through all of this he carrying a turnicat on his belt. He was able to pull it off of his ....

Hes in a car. Lucky for the driver and passenger, they were able to get to that area up ahead. They didnt make it, they just got stranded on that one high spot ....

Little bear came in with a nasty break on his leg. Yikes. What a little champ. What they are going to do is use external hardware. They are simply going to drill holes through the bone and secure them outside of his leg. Little frankenstein thing going on for a little bit. My goodness. So hes got to wear that darn cone of shame and wear his leg like that for a few weeks while they allow the bone to repair, but look at him Walking Around already. Now, this is the moment he comes back after having worn this brace for such a long time, and you can see them removing it. Wow, look at the pins. That is neat. Cutting it off.
