Eu leaders have been marking the centennial area of the start of the first world war. They came together in a small belgian town where half a Million People died fighting between 1914 and 1918. The leaders gather to hear the last post, a bugle call performed every day at the memorial to the british and commonwealth soldiers. Chancellor Angela Merkel became the first german leader to attend.
