Steve definitely a cold weekend. Temperatures right now will pretty much be the high today. If you want to talk about the numbers out there now, generally in the 30s, albeit lower 30s, not bad. But when you factor it in, we wont see the temperature budge any today. Not much of a wind chill. Feels like 26 currently at rdu, 22 in san ford and roxboro, that wind chill will be noted as we go throughout the day today. Meantime, you can see the clear and cold, clouds fanning out, nice and sunny, a cold one, and temperatures staying well below what it should be for this time of the year. Machine apart and sent debris flying some 65 feet. This is not somebody playing with fireworks. This is someone that constructed an explosive device. Powerful one and somewhat sophisticated one. A bomb went off in front of the building. Its insane. Totally insane. Reporter it happened just after 10 00 oclock shattering windows and startling neighbors for blocks. Loud explosion. I didnt know what to think of what it was. The blast blew a hole in the soda vending machine and knocked the front and rear off. It was all caught on tape by ralphs surveillance cameras outside the plumbing and heating business hes owned here for 30 years. For somebody to throw a dynamite or whatever they through in there, its ridiculous. Somebody could have been got killed i mean when i see the damage here. Reporter the explosion brought the citys bomb squad to the scene along with atf and detectives. Carefully took evidence from the blast site. Theyre now tracking down leads and moving towards an arrest. This
