Of the freeway, office by, helping two drivers who had been involved in a minor accident. Thats when Authorities Say a speeding suv veered off the freeway and slammed into a ford f1 50 pickup truck. The impact launched the pickup onto officer lendways lower body, crushing his legs. From the damage and the way the collision have occurred, he should probably be dead. Reporter the officer got himself out from under the pickup truck and called for help. Thankfully people were there that you were helping minutes prior to that are now in a situation where they have to help him and thankfully they did. Reporter the driver, accused of triggering this crash, was arrested on suspicion of dui. 52yearold tammy walker from pittsburg is now facing charges of felony dui causing great bodily harm and assault on a peace officer.
