Tennessee senator delays initiative limiting state AG of power to file federal suits

A Tennessee lawmaker has held off on his proposal to limit the attorney general's power to represent state interests in federal court.  The proposal raised concerns from the attorney general's office and legal experts, who argued it would violate the separation of powers principal and reduce efficiency in the office.
