Vaccine Operation at Fairgrounds in Shreveport Is Back Open The drive-through Covid vaccine operation at the State Fair Grounds is back open today. LSU Health and Christus Health are teaming up to get vaccines out to as many elderly folks as possible. The clinic is open from 8am-4pm. You must have an appointment or you will not be able to get the shot. And you must be age 70 or above. LSU Health Shreveport shut down the operation when they ran out of doses of the vaccine. Christus stepped up with near 1,000 doses to help get this program going again.
