The Monroe News In regards to Rep. Walberg’s remarks at the Cambridge Township Hall on Friday, April 23 (Daily Telegram and Monroe News): It is rare that I would agree with anything that Walberg says. That being said, he has a point about adding four justices to the Supreme Court. That is court-packing and FDR tried that some 80 years ago, and it was wrong then as it is wrong now. A better solution is to revert back to having justices confirmed with a minimum of 60 votes in the Senate. This would assure a court that would be more prone to be evenhanded.
