Construction on an off ramp off the schuylkill expressway. Around Spring Garden street you can see right here road closed signs. We have no access to the schuylkill expressway westbound from the Spring Garden ramp. Eastbound access is okay. They do have local detours posted around the area. This will be out there until at least august 4th for right now. They are going to have to plan your trip accordingly. If you dont follow the local4z stbound 13 minutes from the blue route up towards the vine street expressway. Pretty much the same going westbound towards the king of prussia area as well. 202 cars are green and moving. 11 minutes northbound or southbound up towards the schuylkill expressway. Area bridges doing just fine so far this morning. Waltman bridge is clear and so is the ben. Two lanes blocked headed westbound into the city. One of our regions longest serving congressm ....
Areas north and west thats where we are seeing some steadier rainfall and the potential for icing this morning. The rain is going to be tapering off as we head into the later part of the commute. But that will be replaced by steady rainfall as we go through the day. The temperatures now in the low 30s currently. 31 degrees. This is where we are running into areas north and west. Pottstown, 31 degrees. Much of Chester County at or below freezing this morning. And very close to the freezing mark for mount holly and trenton. Could see some icing there as well. Reading and allentown at 33 degrees. Thats a little warmer than it was to start with. So were going to be flirting with the freezing zone this morning. Leading to a wintry mix and slipping and sliding to start with. But as the day goes on the temperatures climb. So just be plain rain heading into the afternoon hours.
