Lil Durk Seemingly Reacts to Yaya Mayweather Calling His Pooh Shiesty Collab 'Weak'

You’ve probably already seen Yaya Mayweather telling a DJ to turn off the Pooh Shiesty and Lil Durk song, “Back in Blood.”

Now, Durk himself appears to be acknowledging the viral moment. Early Wednesday, Calboy shares a tweet in which he said, “We don’t turn off [Lil Durk] or [Pooh Shiesty] over here.” He ends the tweet with a trio of emojis. Lil Durk promptly retweeted this show of support.

Chances are you’ve seen the clip of Yaya Mayweather making the rounds in which she’s heard pleading with someone to turn off the Pooh Shiesty and Lil Durk collab “Back in Blood,” which appeared on the
Shiesty Season tape released earlier this month. Now Durk himself appears to have acknowledged the viral moment.
Early Wednesday, Calboy shared a tweet in which he said “We don’t turn off [Lil Durk] or [Pooh Shiesty] over here,” adding a trio of emojis for good measure. Durk promptly retweeted this show of support, which—though it doesn’t mention Mayweather directly—certainly appears to have been inspired the aforementioned viral clip.

Lil Durk is presumably on top of the world right now. The Chicago native’s deluxe version of 2020’s
The Voice just landed at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 following his biggest sales week yet and the Cole Bennett-directed “Kanye Krazy” visual has racked up over eight million YouTube views since its January 29 premiere.
While it was initially suspected Kanye had yet to see the video paying tribute to his 2016 “Famous” visual, there’s a high probability Durk actually had Ye’s blessing months before it arrived. In newly surfaced photos, Kanye and Durk are posted up in Atlanta at what looks like a construction site. The photos were allegedly taken in October 2020.
