In 1998, andrew founded the legacy project, all volunteer initiatives that honors veterans and activeduty troops by preserving their wartime correspondence. His travel to all 50 states and more than 40 countries including iraq and afghanistan. He has collected today an estimated 100,000 previously unpublished letters and emails.
