To get on with their mission. so i m actually once you strap it can answer first chance you ve had in the while to kind of relax. i m sure during their quarantine, even after all the scrubs, it been going over their notes. they ve been going over their training and they are very much ready to go, so they re just waiting for the waiting for the countdown clock to keep going and hoping for a good good flight. you know, we were, you know, both of the astronauts very well. tell us about them and how they re, how they handle this month. of quarantine, if you will. and the attempted launches, scrubbed launches, and the history that they eventually will be making well, sure they ve both been waiting a very long time to go flying on this vehicle, especially sunny williams, i know sani very well. we trained together in russia for a number of years and she is a consummate professional as his butch, i don t know butch quite as well, but which is also a consummate professional they d been doing ....
Moment for spaceflight in general. we re seeing a lot of competition mission across different types of launches and different organizations how do you feel about what we saw today no, i think it s a great step of proven capability and that s really important. i mean, as you say, it s been a huge week. china landed on the other side of the moon this week and just blasted off over the moon with a robot, which still bringing a sample back our rocket lab down in new zealand. just launched a nasa payload up into orbit to monitor the earth s health and tomorrow spent sex is launching starship on its fourth test flight. so i mean, it s a huge week for what can happen when we all put our minds together and try and do hard things but this specifically getting a new human rated vehicle with two friends of mine onboard safely into orbit. and on the right of space station that s a whole new kind of step of capability for the united states. and i m ....

-i m probably different than most astronauts. i really don t enjoy launches, you know? i think a launch is a terrible way to get to space. when you launch in a rocket, you re not really flying that rocket. you re just sort of hanging on. even though we ve gone to great pains to to make it as safe as we can, there s always the potential for something going wrong. you know, so we try not to think about those things. we train and try to prepare for the things that may go wrong. but there s always that unknown. and i guess it s that unknown that i don t like. -i went with michael to florida for the first time and actually saw the shuttle. and when i saw it, i was like, you really want to get up in this? you really, really, really want to do this? [laughs] i remember saying to him because somehow it didn t look as glamorous as it did on television. i was like, wow, that s, you know, the oldest one in the fleet. ....
