A good friend of the heritage area. He is an attorney working in the Business Development and litigation arenas. Born in the philadelphia suburbs, he was raised in southeastern pennsylvania. As many of us did, he made his first trip to gettysburg in the third grade and has been hooked on the history of the American Civil War ever since. He is an alumnus of Dickinson College in pennsylvania and has two degrees from the university of pittsburgh. He has a masters degree and a doctorate from the university of Pittsburgh School of law. He is also an awardwinning civil war historian. His specialty is calvary operations with an emphasis on the army of potomacs calvary court. He is the author of 19 published books.
