Come to Long Live Roxbury for a night of pints and conversation with <i>New York Times</i> bestselling author, Jennifer Haigh!&nbsp;<br/><br/>Haigh will share her writing process, insights, challenges, and goals when it comes to her novels, characters, and stories. She’ll also answer any questions that you may have, so come prepared with questions of your own!<br/><br/>Don’t miss the chance to meet and chat in-person with the author, while indulging in local brews and celebrating the power of storytelling.<br/><br/>Jennifer Haigh is a Boston author with acclaimed novels such as <i>Mrs. Kimble</i> (2003), <i>Baker Towers </i>(2005), <i>The Condition </i>(2008), <i>Faith </i>(2011), <i>Heat and Light </i>(2016), <i>Mercy Street </i>(2022) and a book of short stories <i>News from Heaven </i>(2013). Her books have won the PEN/Hemingway Award, the Massachusetts Book Award and the PEN New England Award in Fiction and have been published in 18 languages. Haigh is also a Guggenheim Foundation Fellow and has won a Literature Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She teaches in the graduate creative writing program at Boston University. Most recently, Haigh was a festival presenter at the 2023 Boston Book Festival.<br/><br/>At the end of the evening, you will have the opportunity to have Jennifer Haigh sign YOUR favorite of her works. Haigh’s novel, <i>Mercy Street</i>, will be available onsite for purchase and signing. All proceeds will support GBH News, programming and events.<br/><br/>Long Live Roxbury is located at 152 Hampden Street in Boston, MA. Long Live is passionate about community and great beer.
