Our experience to come in was different than any other family. Probably will never happen again in history. We took a picture of the family behind the oval office desk. That night we did not get to move into the white house because nixon had left so quickly, so unexpectedly, they had left their daughter and soninlaw to pack all of their clothes and belongings. We had to go back to our little house in alexandria, virginia, suburbia the neighborhood surrounded by secret service. We have been living there as dad was Vice President. I will never forget that. Of course being a smart girl that i am, i had trees put in johnson city in memory of my grandparents. But that was just a given. We have been very blessed. We are not financially stressed.
