Crews are still on the scene looking for hot spots. I was there for the earlymorning hours but bob redell took over for this noontime hour and is joining us now. What is now, bob . Reporter well, for the past several hours, kris and scott, shop owners had the heartbreaking task to find out how their businesses faired in this fire that tore through the Rancho Shopping Center on el camino. The Fire Department was able to save three locations and the remaining seven destroyed, including the kosher Indian Restaurant owned by mr. And mrs. Patel. Unbelievable. Reporter youre right, this is the neighborhood where president clinton came to raise money. Some of the people in that house for the private fundraiser sent in these photographs. People paying anywhere from 1,000 to 10,000 each to meet, stand next to and shake hands with the former president. He was, as you said, in town to raise money for his wife, democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, one of two stops bill clinton made here in the bay area. President Clintons Campaign swing started in San Francisco, where people lined up nearly around the block to hear him speak. Then, south to freemont for a fundraiser which had this neighborhood buzzing. I think hes such an important president and statesman. Has done philanthropic things throughout the world.
