Also this morning, the search zone has narrowed once again, just 18,000 square miles. This is so much smaller than the area they were looking in before, this as they race against time to find the flight recorders before their batteries run out, if, in fact, they havent run out already. Nice to see you. We begin with a potential breakthrough in the search for missing malaysian flight 370, missing now for 17 days. The crew of a chinese plane reportedly spotting suspicious objects in the southern indian ocean. Now, according to chinas news agency, they include two relatively big objects and then some smaller ones. A chinese icebreaker said to be heading on that area. It comes as were learning more about what may have happened in the cockpit of flight 370. Military radar indicates the boeing 777 dramatically changed altitude, flying as low as 12,000 feet after turning off course and disappearing from radar. A source telling cnn that sharp turn was executed so quickly, it was likely intentional.
