LEWISTON — Before the upcoming solar eclipse darkens Lewiston, some ghosts of its past will share stories that revolve around the moon.
On April 8, there will be a total solar eclipse - one of the most spectacular events in nature - and Lewiston is in the direct path of totality. To commemorate this event, the Opera Hall Players, who formerly presented the Marble Orchard Ghost Walks, have been rehearsing to a brand-new show:

Amid ongoing calls from Jewish students and alumni for the date to be moved, the University of Pennsylvania has said it will not be altering the date of its planned commencement ceremony, which currently falls on the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. As of Tuesday morning, more than 1,600 individuals had signed a petition asking that the university move the date to accommodate observant Jewish students.
