Campbell man charged in credit card fraud case | News, Sports, Jobs

Joseph Brown, 62, of Campbell, is among eight people indicted federally in a scheme that used stolen and fraudulent credit card accounts to purchase at least $750,000 worth of items. The eight are charged in a 22-count indictment with conspiracy to commit access device fraud, access device fraud and aggravated identity theft. Brown appeared in Cleveland federal court Tuesday and pleaded not guilty. Bond of $20,000 was set. He is set for a change-of-plea hearing at 12:45 June 15 before Judge Dan A. Polster in Cleveland.
