(Courtesy of Linden Police) LINDEN, NJ — A Linden man and Union County College student, who had been missing for more than a week, was reportedly found dead, authorities said. "It is with great sadness that we confirm that 20-year-old Linden resident Jeffrey Mendoza has passed away. The investigation has been turned over to the Newark Police Department, and out of respect for the privacy of the family we will not provide any further comment regarding the circumstances surrounding his death," said Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther.
