It involved a bus and a pedestrian. Police say the driver is cooperating, but theyre not giving us very many details. But they do say that there is a surveillance camera on that bus that should play a key part in their investigation. Its the 18th pedestrian death this year. A 51yearold San Francisco woman satisfied as lori helmer was jogging when she was hit by a golden gate transit bus. It happened this morning as the driver was turning left on to van ness avenue.
