Nashville and Middle Tennessee awakened Thursday to a fresh blanket of snow. Between two and five inches fell overnight, according to the National Weather Service. That added to the 1.5 to 2 inches of snow and sleet that already accumulated throughout the week, NWS Nashville meteorologist James LaRosa said.

Interstate 65 southbound was shut down near the Interstate 840 interchange in Williamson County on Thursday after truck jack-knifed and "extreme ice" built up, the Franklin Police Department reported.
Nashville saw between 2 and 3 inches, while areas further west and south saw 3 to 4. Waynesboro received between 4 and 6 inches, and Clarksville accumulated between 1 and 2.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) â DraftKings announced a donation of nearly $180,000 to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennesseeâs Nashville Neighbors Fund which will help those impacted by the Christmas Day bombing.
A total of $179,579 will benefit the many Nashvillians and business owners who are still struggling to recover from the bombing. DraftKings ran a series of free fantasy sports contests to benefit the Fund, and pledged a $1 donation to the Fund for each participant in the contests.
