Join Men’s Health and the UK’s brightest fitness personalities for
Men’s Health Weekenders, a virtual festival of health, workouts and wellness, every weekend in January 2021
The second weekend of MH Weekenders — our virtual festival of health, workouts and wellness, taking place every weekend in January — saw another salvo of expert fitness and health content delivered straight to viewers, including cover model workouts, Michelin-starred Chef's recipes, mental resilience talks and calming yoga flows.
One such highlight was Men's Health Fitness Editor Andrew Tracey's full-body, 15-minute kettlebell workout. As Tracey explains in the video above, you'll be working through five different exercises across three total rounds, never grinding out more than six reps per side, and following an EMOM (every minute, on the minute) format.

We have a challenge for you. How many rounds of our ladder workout can you get done in 15 minutes? 10? 15? 20? However many rounds you complete, this workout – the second from our month-long fitness festival Men's Health Weekenders – is sure to challenge both your body and mind.
This is a ladder workout, so start by performing one rep of each of the ladder movements, then two, then three etc. Every two minutes, stop doing the ladder exercises and do five burpees, before starting where you left off, and remember to keep track of how many rounds you're able to do in 15 minutes.

With the UK once again plunged into a national lockdown, now could be a very good time to remember a hidden feature buried on your Sky Q box. Late last year, the satellite TV firm announced the launch of the FIIT app on its service which offers an easy way to get some heart-pumping exercise without needing to leave the house. With gyms shut for the foreseeable future, this could be the perfect tonic after all the excesses of Christmas and New Year.

These are the top health and wellness trends you'll see in 2021. Consider it your post-2020 shake up and rebound plan to refocus on self-care and more.
New Year who dis? A seismic shift hit 2020 (to say the least) and reverberated through all of us. It threw our priorities and goals and day-to-day habits into a high-speed blender. The topsy-turvy time also offered up an opportunity to reset, embrace the unexpected, and figure out how to keep going. Would 2019 you recognize the 2020 version?
Maybe not, but it’s okay. Out went packed race corrals and after-work happy hours. In came pure joy, sweating in unfamiliar ways, and treating your mental health with real TLC. Resettling into the new world was a bit scary at first, but now: The silver linings are everywhere.

Apple Fitness+ Cycling Review vs Peloton vs Zwift

This will be quick dive (well, that was the plan) into how Fitness+ cycling workouts compare to Peloton and Zwift.

Backgrounder: 2020 Cycling Season Cut Short
2020 was a year cut short for cyclists such as myself, due to COVID-19. While I was able to squeeze in a handful of local club group rides and with our usual crew (socially distanced…of course?), I missed out on some gran fondos I was looking forward to this year.
In 2019, I set personal bests at the Penticton Gran Fondo (4:34) and Whistler Gran Fondo (3:41), qualifying at the latter to represent Canada at the UCI Gran Fondo Worlds, set to take place this year (again at Whistler). But that was cut short due to COVID-19.
