CSPAN2 Book Discussion September 21, 2014

Im thinking of when i was a kid and some of you remember this ploy of blackandwhite scotty that were magnets. You help them next to each other and they pushed away and you help them on the wrong end. That was sally and publicity. She knew was part of her job. She knew when you fly you give back by going around the world and telling about your trip and she absolutely hated it. But she did it and she overcame it. She had to psych herself up for every speech he gave. I think they would have liked her, i know they would have liked her to be more outgoing. I think she got there just by the fact that she was an introvert. Thats another reason why i think she probably kept her Sexual Orientation private. It would have been the last bit of privacy and she had a zone of privacy in the end it was very important curve. I think nasa, i know nasa wanted her to get out there more and i tell a story in the book about the time sally refuse to ....

CSPAN2 Key Capitol Hill Hearings November 11, 2014

Mornings america at war people would go we shot tomahawks, we are not at war. If you talk to people near the receiving end of those tomahawks very different response. So the danger is you have different thresholds. You are shooting at someone and they say it feels like were to me and when youre in another position you say well we are just doing surgical operations. You can get this resentment in american arrogance. Americans can be perceived as we are arrogant because we can stand up from the heavens and throw thunderbolts. Although militarily it may just read the right move if you are building up massive resentment than theres a negative cost to it. Its one of those technologies that has to be very carefully balanced as we use it. Pretty soon everybody is going to happen. A lot of countries have them now. I dont know how we will feel when somebody does it to us but i can predict. Thats a great question. Thank you. With that i want to thank bank of america for hosting this and thank yo ....

MSNBCW The Rachel Maddow Show February 8, 2019

Piece. One step at a time. So thats what were going to do tonight because enter related stories had really important developments this afternoon and tonight. Were going to go through it piece by piece. Well start in federal court in the Southern District of new york right before christmas in mid december, this past december. Thats the day that the president s longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen was sentenced to three years in federal prison. It was a dramatic day. He wept in court. His family wept. Cohen and his defense team and family all clearly thought he was going to get a much lighter sentence and recognition of his cooperation with prosecutors from the special counsels office and for their part, robert mueller, the special counsel and the prosecutors in his office, they did recommend to the judge sentencing Michael ....
