Eric wagner recently opened this barbershop to support his new family. He quickly became a staple in this allentown neighborhood. This memorial growing behind me, with people coming by to pay their respects. Yesterday someone walked up to him and gunned him down. On the sidewalk outside headliners barbershop, loved ones light candles for 48yearold eric wagner. He wanted to cut hair. Reporter the beloved barber sat out here almost every day, greeting customers. Yeah, he was always sitting out in the chair. He was a good guy. Reporter but yesterday in the middle of the afternoon, police say someone walked up to his chair and opened fire. Witnesses heard almost a dozen shots. I seen the guy laying right here. And i started screaming and crying and hollering. Reporter the suspect ran off and neighbors said he was acting strange, asking around for cigarettes prior to the shooting.
