hello, i m anna.. anna foster. south africa s governing party has two weeks to form a coalition, after losing its outright majority for the first time in 30 years. with virtually all the votes now counted from wednesday s election, the anc stands at around 40% a sharp drop from almost 58% in 2019. the anc say the result has been a wake up call for the party. the anc has accepted the result and, as the anc, what is foremost now in our mind are two things. one is the fact that there was a clear protest from our people. our people are saying, we love the anc, but the anc must self correct. we have already started that programme of organisational renewal. i think we need to fast track that. we must no longer only speak about acting against corruption, we must be seen as doing that. we must be seen as giving our people the service. that is the message that our people have said to us and it s a message we have received loud and clear. let s go live to our corresponden ....
