It is so intense out there. Take a look at this video. This is the traffic backup this morning from a huge pothole that opened up on 580 near livermore. Its still backed up right now. Elissa harrington is live at the scene. I understand that road wont be clear for hours understandably. Reporter problems started around 3 00 a. M. Repairs are taking a lot longer than expected. Caltrans crews will be out here until 9 00 or 10 00 tonight. This pothole opened up right at the edge of the overcrossing where you can see traffic is still crawling.
