Daniel Cameron appeared to soften his hardline opposition to abortion on Monday, telling a Kentucky radio station he would support amending the state's abortion ban to add exceptions allowing for the termination of pregnancies caused by rape or incest.
As Attorney General, Daniel Cameron has been a staunch defender of KY’s abortion ban as it is currently, which doesn’t include exceptions for rape and incest. Remarks indicate he’s taken a new stance.
“As governor and the father of three daughters, Kehoe would consider approving legislation brought forward by the General Assembly that contains exceptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother,” said Kehoe’s campaign manager.
