to begin with. eight years ago the age of 44 this mother of two was diagnosed with lung cancer specifically it had already metastasized to her brain. normally this would be a death sentence despite surgery, radiation, chemotherapy the cancer continued its deadly march moving into her liver and pancreas. she kept on fighting and in early 2003 she enrolled in a trial of a drug that is a new gm based drug for cancer based on a molecular understanding of what has gone wrong in certain cases of lung cancer. after she started the drug, most of her metastases vanished. look at the ct scans...
