Chiefs plan, the chief came up with this idea the other day where they said im going send a letter to every officer who is pending retiring and ask if they would be willing to stay on as a reserve officer to participate in the program. It a smooth transition. The benefit of getting them before they retire is move them from an officer to a reserve officer so we dont have to go through that investigative process.
