STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) A selection committee has announced it will recommend Dr. Kayse Shrum as the next president of Oklahoma State University.
The committee late Friday selected Shrum after spending two days interviewing finalists to succeed President Burns Hargis, who announced in October he would retire at the end of the current fiscal year.
Shrum, president of the OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa since 2013 and a former state secretary of science and innovation in Gov. Kevin Stitt’s cabinet, is to take over as OSU president on July 1. ....

Network speed tracker Ookla has released its Q4 2020 report for broadband and mobile network performance in India. In the report, the company stated that Reliance Jio is the fastest broadband network provider in the country. In addition, it states that Vi (Vodafone-idea) had the fastest mobile download speeds. The report also revealed that among all South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries, India managed to gain the top spot when it comes to fixed broadband speeds. Jio had the fasted speeds for fixed broadband while Vi India was the fastest in mobile download speeds in Q4 2020, according to a report by Ookla.
The report said, Jio had the fastest mean download speed over fixed broadband out of India’s top providers during the fourth quarter. As per the graph posted by Ookla, Jio achieved a mean download speed of around 80 Mbps. It was followed by ACT Fibernet with around 75 Mbps and then by Airtel and Excitel. ....
