Gallatin Street Fest ft. George Brown Band, Mahmoud Chouki & More!

12pm-6pm The New Orleans Jazz Museum will host its inaugural Gallatin Street Fest highlighting artists represented on the museum's record label: Gallatin Street Records. The festival will feature live performances, food vendors, full bar and an opportunity to purchase records and merchandise. The festival is free and open to the public. Featured artists will include: George Brown Band, Mahmoud Chouki, James Andrews and the Original Pinettes Brass Band.

FOC Film Series Presents: 1970 Jazz Fest Films | WWOZ New Orleans 90.7 FM

Join Friends of the Cabildo for a screening of the Louisiana State Museum’s collection of seven different 16mm film reels from the 1970 Jazz Fest on Wednesday, April 24th. Screened in the third-floor performance space of The New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old U.S. Mint, the FOC Film Series highlights the best films and documentaries that showcase New Orleans and Louisiana. One night only at 6:30 p.m., Jon Pult will moderate the event with the Band-In-A-Pocket Jazz Trio performing live during sections of film without sound.
