Corona vaccines: 209 claims for damages are pending in court

Dozens of people in Germany are suing producers of corona vaccines. More than 200 claims for damages against producers are in the German courts. If plaintiffs win a lawsuit, it would not be the pharmaceutical companies that would have to pay damages, but the taxpayers. The European Court of Auditors says this only does not apply if damage was caused intentionally, by gross negligence or by non-compliance with good manufacturing practice in force in the EU. In January, the Hof Regional Court in Bavaria dismissed a woman's lawsuit against AstraZeneca.
