Born in El Salvador, Gerarado A. Interiano moved to Texas when he was 8 years old. As the VP of government relations at Aurora, a company building self-driving technology, he leads their efforts to engage with governments to help define policy for the burgeoning industry. Before that, he worked at Google, where he helped launch the Google Self-Driving Car and Google Fiber, and Waymo in the southwest U.S. He has also held senior roles with U.S. Congressman Lamar Smith, Texas Gov.
