Pakistani Foreign Affairs Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi called on Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena at the Foreign Ministry yesterday.
Minister Qureshi reassured Pakistan’s continued solidarity and support for sustainable development, and economic growth. The ministers agreed to strengthen bilateral relations through commercial activities under the Pakistan-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement (PSFTA) and to achieve US$ 1 billion through annual two-way trade.
Foreign Minister Gunawardena conveyed Sri Lanka’s appreciation for the call by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on the international financial institutes and other lenders to provide debt relief to developing countries. ....
