Kincardine has set up a committee to find their next Fire Chief. Council has agreed to a staff recommendation during the Committee of the Whole portion of Monday’s (1st) meeting. The committee will be made up of Deputy Mayor Randy Roppel as Chair, CAO Sharon Chambers, Manager of Finance Roxana Baumann, and Patrick Rowan, a recruiter from Feldman Daxon Partners Inc. Mayor Anne Eadie says the complexities surrounding the role of Fire Chief requires the formation of a committee.
