Durham University's World Heritage Site visitor attractions to re-open to visitors – Palatinate

Durham University’s World Heritage Site visitor attractions are to reopen to the public on Tuesday for the first time since March 2020. The World Heritage Site includes Durham Castle, Palace Green Library and Durham Cathedral, the first two being owned by the University. Visitors to the Museum of Archaeology and Durham Light Infantry Gallery in Palace Green Library and Durham Castle will be required to pre-book an entry time. Isolating students told "no legal requirement" to stay in property by letting agent – Palatinate

The students told  Palatinate that their house of five had to isolate past the end of their tenancy after two members had positive lateral flow test results and a third received a notification from the NHS app to self-isolate. The letting agent, Bow Residential, told  Palatinate that they were “contractually bound” to allow the incoming tenants into the property.
