The head of the Eviction Defense Collaborative, one of SF’s major anti-eviction organizations, was ousted by its board of directors today.

John Shiells, home manager, at Elm Bank Care Home, has worked at the facility for 10 years. Senior care assistant Kathryn Gaughan, care assistant Peter Gaughan, and kitchen assistant Adam Metcalf, have all also completed a decade service each. They have been presented with long service awards by Amanda Cunningham, operations director at care provider Marton Care Homes, which operates 14 care homes across the North of England.
