Patrol car before engaging in a shootout. During the exchange, the officer was struck by bullet fragments just below his vest and officer youric was struck in his vest. They deserve a happened. They potentially saved lives. The night before they apprehended a suspect with a firearm. According to police, the suspect has 15 prior arrests in new york city and another eleven when he lived in chicago before leaving in 2000.
