Lawyer in 'trial of the century' claims defendants treated Vatican bank 'like a cash machine'
Attorney Roberto Lipari, representing the Institute for the Works of Religion, better known as the “Vatican bank,” asked that the defendants be compelled to pay the bank roughly $1 million for “moral and reputational damage.”
