The year 2020 proved to be a rough time for small business owners, but Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico have found a way to keep pressing forward.
The husband and wife team of restaurant owners recently opened up their new venture Pivot Coffee and Soupery at 738 S. 11th St. The new establishment is the sixth owned by the married couple and set up shop next-door to their restaurant Hawthornes. Fetfatzes and Annechiarico also own South Street establishments Wine Dive, Tio Flores and The Cambridge as well as Quick Sip on Fitzwater Street.

David Chang's Fuku available for delivery in Philadelphia

Starting Saturday, Philadelphians will be able to get sandwiches from Fuku delivered to their door.
The fried chicken joint from famous chef David Chang, founder of Momofuku and star of Netflix's "Ugly Delicious," has partnered with REEF Neighborhood Kitchens.
Fuku started within Chang's original Momofuku in New York City and has since grown into its own fast-casual eatery.
While Fuku has been available at the concession stands in Lincoln Financial Field for a few years, this is the first time Philly customers can get it delivered within the city.
REEF's national network of Neighborhood Kitchens enables restaurants to quickly expand their delivery businesses.

Pivot Coffee and Soupery opening next door to Hawthornes

A new concept from the owners of Hawthornes is a full service coffee and espresso shop, soup shop, bake shop and wine shop all rolled into one.
Restaurateurs Chris Fetfatzes and Heather Annechiarico are opening Pivot Coffee and Soupery on Thursday. It will sell coffee drinks and a variety of soups, as well as breakfast sandwiches, pastries, hot cocktails and beer. Also, it will be a wine shop, with more than 100 bottles for sale.
The versatile, full service cafe is located next to Hawthornes, which the husband and wife duo also own in addition to Wine Dive, The Cambridge and Tio Flores.
