With other autocrats. look at post—soviet histories. we have had 30 years. some countries like the baltic states are stable and democratic and wonderful. look at some of the central asian countries, we had dictators being replaced by other dictators. for example in khodykin stan, koos and revolutions —— kyrgyzstan. the fundamental question here is not about some of those other countries, it is about russia because it sets the tone across the region. when putin goes, i don't know when this will happen, somebody else will come. there will be an opportunity that we should not lose to engage...
