The discussion focused on how newsrooms are changing how they approach hiring and story coverage as well as advice for young journalists entering the profession. This runs for one hour, 10 minutes. Teachers. Reporter students cant choose both options because the district wants to be consistent. A big concern to next, teachers are expected to do remote in classroom instruction at the same time. As a senior i want to be back as much as the next guy. Reporter Willow Glen High School senior kyle booker says, while he wants to go back to school, he likely wont. Because we arent completely under control yet, i would say we should stay virtual until we can guarantee everything is clear and safe. We have every intention of opening for inperson instruction on january 5th. Reporter san jose unified laying out plans for 2021 after 28,000 students have spent the school year so far distance learning. Its definitely going to be different. Masks will be required. Positive in recent years. Horizon before sunrise 4 00 it morning, the covid testing began at the parking lot of the hospital. All employees are being tested for the virus for today because over the past month a total of 14 Staff Members have come down with it. We have periodically had employees come up positive. But never this many in the span of four weeks. The ceo says the hospital has one long term covid patient theyre treating there. They dont know if the Staff Members have been sick from this patient. They dont know if patients have gotten sick from Staff Members. Our experience were having right now, is showing just how dangerous this virus is and how very, very easy it is for anyone in our community to pick it up and become infected. Once the hospital workers are at thed for covid today theyll be fitted for n95 masks ....
